Abstract:
A look at current Hydraulic Fracturing legislation pending across the country, and a brief discussion of recent trends over the last few years. From Vermont outright banning fracs, to North Dakota declaring them officially awesome, the states run the gamut on opinions about fracturing. Obviously the impact of bans or moratoriums would be substantial, so it's important to be aware of how these trends are developing.
Biography:
Karen Suhaka started her career at Halliburton many years ago, and has since founded a series of companies focused on aggregating and analyzing data in a variety of ways. Her current endeavor, www.BillTrack50.com, provides a simple way for citizens to research legislation from across the country.
